What's The News?

The Bluebirds class has been enjoying listening, learning, playing, and dancing to a variety of music during the month of February! We would like to say a big THANK YOU to our families who were able to share their love of music with the children this month. It was an honor to care for and share this introduction to music appreciation and literacy with your little ones! Some favorite activities for them seemed to be plucking the strings of a real guitar, moving and dancing to the songs of Raffi, Gershwin, and Copland's Appalachian Spring.

March will bring us the opportunities to explore the nature of of wind. As March certainly does blow in like a lion, but it will be a bit too chilly to play outside in it, so the bluebird infants will enjoy wind chimes, pinwheels, blowing bubbles and playing with ribbons in front of a tall fan inside the cozy classroom!

Miss Cindy

My name is Cindy White, and I was born and raised in Cheyenne Wyoming and graduated from East High School with specific classes in Early Childhood Education. I then continued my education in Minnesota where I received my degree in Human Biology with an emphasis on Early Childhood Development. My husband, Kenny, and I live life in the fast lane raising our 7 children and also welcoming our new daughter-in-law into the family this past summer!

Miss Deb

My name is Deb and I worked as a beautician in Kentucky before moving out west and raising my beautiful family of 4 children and now 3 grandchildren. After retiring I needed something wonderful to fill my time and found my way to The Neighborhood School. I love being able to see these babies grow and learn while having the opportunity to spend the afternoons with my grandchildren!

Miss Susie

I have been with The Neighborhood School since September of 2016. I am the 5th of 9 siblings and was born in SanLuis Potosi, Mexico. At 17 I migrated to the USA and have lived and worked in California and Colorado since. I am a mother of 3 children and a proud Nana of three grandchildren. I have dedicated my life to infants and children and have been in childcare since I was 16 years old and besides children and my family I love butterflies and wolves.
