• Preschool Teacher Position

  • ​It is recommended that the person selected for this position be professionally prepared as a teacher of young children, especially in the field of early childhood education or child development. A bachelor or an associate college degree with course work emphasizing early childhood education and child development is preferred. It is recommended that the teacher have classroom work experience and knowledge of current educational theories. Minimum 1 year of classroom experience.

• Toddler Teacher Assistant Position

  • ​It is recommended that the person selected for this position be professionally prepared as a teacher of young children, especially in the field of early childhood education or child development. An associate college degree with course work emphasizing early childhood education and child development or a Child Development Associate Certificate is preferred. It is recommended that the teacher assistant have classroom work experience and knowledge of current educational theories.

• Floater Position

  • ​It is recommended that the person selected for this position be professionally prepared as a caregiver of young children, especially in the field of early childhood education or child development. A Child Development Associate Certificate, with course work emphasizing early childhood education and child development is preferred. It is preferred but not mandatory that the Floater have classroom work experience and some knowledge of current educational theories. High School diploma or GED is required.
